I try to encourage as many people as possible to bake their own bread and most of those who say they can’t think it’s either too difficult or it takes too much time.
A lot of bread is simple to make and a simple white loaf that you’ve made at home will always be far nicer than anything that you can buy in a shop.
We all fail with bread from time to time and some of my failures hav been so awful I really don’t want to admit to them.
I am really annoying and use metric in some recipes, pounds and ounces in others and sometimes I even combine the two.
Don’t be afraid, get messy, make mistakes and enjoy the experience!
